UK airline Flybe declares bankruptcy as coronavirus dooms the already struggling carrier

globally. The coronavirus causes a respiratory disease known as COVID-19.

UK transportation secretary Grant Shapps said that the government "really tried to do everything" it could to save the airline and was "absolutely gutted" by the news. Virgin, which has found success as a long-haul operator but has struggled with building a regional and domestic feeder network, last attempted a regional operation in 2013.

With the spread of the corona virus happening so quickly, many orgs. will not be able to take the hit. Hopefully a cure is found quickly and those who have contracted it may make a full recovery.
