– Mayor Benjamin Magalong issued two executive orders, instructing the business and transport sectors in the city to heighten their preventive measures against the coronavirus disease 2019 following the surge in cases, and the President’s declaration of a state of public health emergency in the country.
They were further directed to ensure that all contact surfaces such as door knobs, handrails, tables, chairs and those similar areas are sufficiently disinfected and sanitized and that general surroundings are clean at all times.
