Taguig City has confirmed eight new COVID-19 cases in the city, according to a bulletin released late Friday night.

The city asked for the cooperation of its residents in order to monitor all cases and prevent the spread of COVID-19.To prevent citizens from flocking to wet markets during the Enhanced Community Quarantine , the city also launched a mobile market on Saturday at Barangays Bagumbayan, Central Signal, and Ususan.

With the help of the Department of Agriculture , the mobile market supplies residents with fresh and nutritious goods until stocks last. The city has also continued to give away food packs to its citizens. The said food packs are good for three to four days for a family of five. COVID-19 kits were also distributed to senior citizens, breast cancer patients, and those with comorbidities.
