PHNOM PENH: The Cambodian government on Tuesday (March 31) decided to give tax breaks for three months to aviation companies to help offset losses caused by the Covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, according to a press statement.

"Cambodia's aviation companies will be provided a minimum tax exemption for three months, starting from March to May, 2020," the statement said.

According to the statement, the government also granted a three-month tax holiday, from March to May, for hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and tour companies in capital Phnom Penh and in Siem Reap, Preah Sihanouk, Kep and Kampot provinces, as well as in Bavet and Poipet cities.
