France becomes latest country to ban companies registered in offshore tax havens from coronavirus bailouts

The Finance Minister said they won't be eligible for €110 billion rescue package. Companies in Denmark and Poland with tax havens will not access bailout funds. The UK has yet to make the move, although experts say it is unlikely to happen.

MsAvaArmstrong Good.

This is how it should be, why should the likes of Greedy Branson who sued our NHS even though it was struggling, no let him do it or go bust it will serve the greedy bugger right

LordJohnMann Does that rule out the Guardian?

Not sure that will happen in the UK...such a move could well fall into the 'turkeys voting for Christmas' category

Hope Canada does this too

British government please do this!! Fed up of these huge rich companies being registered in far flung places never paying tax in the UK then expecting the tax payer to bail them out

Yes!!! I wish every country will do the same !!!

Nice

Stimulus checks and universal basic income provisions may not apply either to some American citizens who find themselves trapped abroad by the novel coronavirus restrictions.

We should be doing the same here.

Good, take note UK and Richard Branson !

:O

Good for them!! Tax avoiders should not be getting tax funded relief

Something the UK should do.

Won't happen here as too many tory mp's have intrest in them

piersmorgan GMB You need to push this story

BorisJohnson We should be doing this also ?

French doing something right just hope uk follows suit
