Manny Stotz is so good at allocating capital that billionaire Howard Marks was his biggest investor from the get-go. He breaks down a high-upside bet he's making on 'frontier' stocks in nations like Bangladesh and Egypt.

," podcast. "He told me: 'Manny, if you want to win any game whether it's sports or investing, you have to be a good athlete — and you're a great athlete here but there's so many others.

Stotz says that the countries that he's focused on — Vietnam, Egypt, Bangladesh, and Pakistan amongst others — are comprised of about 3 billion people, or 40% of the world's population. As the quality of life in these parts of the world improves and wages increase, Stotz thinks the demands for all types of goods will explode as consumers develop brand loyalty. For that reason, he's making it a point to invest in the biggest, highest-quality consumer consumption, healthcare, and education businesses he can find.
