New York state paid $69 million for ventilators to an engineer with no background in medical supplies after he tweeted at President Donald Trump and the White House coronavirus task force recommended him as a vendor, BuzzFeed News reported.New York has since terminated its contract with the man, a Silicon Valley electrical engineer named Yaron Oren-Pines, and is working to recover its money.
Yaron Oren-Pines, an electrical engineer in Silicon Valley, replied to the tweet, writing, "We can supply ICU Ventilators, invasive and noninvasive. Have someone call me URGENT." The company, Panthera Worldwide LLC, describes itself as a tactical training company for the US military and other government agencies, has no record of producing medical supplies or equipment, The Post said.
Hehehe corruption is everywhere even in USA
Hold on. Aren’t all those companies who shifted production lines to do this in the same predicament? Perfume, food, vacuums, cars; all those manufacturers shifted production to medical grade supplies. So why is this suddenly important news? More like fake news.

Who did they pay this to? Need to fact check. How would I?
Trump is Public Enemy 1 Unfit Criminal RemoveTrump
So they were about as effective as the ventilators Elon Musk gave California? Gotcha.
'Reportedly' ? Did they or did they not? GM or Ford engineers likely have 'no Background in medical supplies'. What does that mean? Only that you are trying to spin this into a negative
Did Chris Grayling (Tory Party MP, UK) advise on this? He's a habit of spending money on things that don't exist. Check out his ££m investment in a ferry company, that had no ferries and didn't exist.
Did the vendor make any campaign donations?
Nice
This publication is more corrupt. Keep spreading your lies
