McDonald's is giving workers at company-owned stores a bonus for working during the coronavirus pandemic.
When asked for comment, McDonald's confirmed the bonus, saying that "restaurant teams have always been essential – and that is true now more than ever."in the US are owned by the company. However, McDonald's emphasized that this new policy was inspired by franchisees, who control benefits and pay for workers at 95% of stores.
McDonald's has been discussing rewarding employees for working during the coronavirus pandemic in recent weeks internally.to support paid leave in locations, 10% "hero" pay for employees during the pandemic, and establishing a worker emergency relief fund.from some workers and progressive organizers for its response to the coronavirus pandemic.
You need to raise the wage to 28 dollars an hour if you really want to help your workers raise the wage,they risked their life and deserve it

So, 15 cents an hour? A full-time employee will get $250 bucks per month for risking their life?
As they should - people showing up for work during this shit deserve a bonus, not a pay-cut.
Italian Government did something similar giving a 100 euro bonus to everyone who worked regularly last March.
There should be a bonus for every essential worker in America.
