These plexiglass boxes from an Italian designer might be the way to reopen beaches safely — here's what they look like

, which rely on visiting beachgoers to support their local economies, have slowly been starting to reopen.

"Safebeach" is a hotel and beach concept that could make these reopenings safer, or possible at all in harder-hit areas. Here's how it works. The concept is for a kind of open-air hotel at the beach, with a reception area that handles reservations. An app could be developed to make reservations, avoiding lines, Menasci told Business Insider.Safebeach.The top of plexiglass box is open for ventilation, and it can also be cooled manually with water. On the side, there is a table where servers can leave food or drinks ordered through the app to prevent more cross contamination.

Every morning I cling wrap myself from head to toe. No virus for me and I have lost 50 kg

What a joke

Just pray your partner doesn’t fart.

me inside

Oh man... Stop this world of nonsenseeeeeee?.. AAAAAAH

👎🏾

Hahaha, obvsly that Italian designer has never sunned himself on the Gulf of Mexico.

Every decade humanity gets stupider

Bad idea.. How can I kick sand in that guys face.

Tell us the miraculous plex... boxes have purifying cooling units. Thus, probably wealthy folks will find pitiful excuses to buy them & fill the beaches right away in U.S. and in around the globe. The top of it is ineffective ( )Airwaves don't work that way.

This world needs to end man holy fuck

This is a joke, right? Right

It’s a greenhouse. The Italians now have greenhouse technology.

🤔😯😯

You would absolutely bake in one of those on a beach in Florida!!

These plexiglass boxes might be the way to get cooked real fast.

“I think outdoors is so much better than indoors in almost all cases,” said Linsey Marr, an engineering professor and aerosol scientist at Va. Tech. “There’s so much dilution that happens outdoors. As long as you’re staying at least six feet apart, I think the risk is very low.”

Modjadji_Naledi something to draw inspiration from for your 3rd project.

Social distancing on the water

Sick ideas...

There are much better solutions that don’t require people to stay on the beach closed in boxes like plants oin a greenhouse. Please check all the available apps to go safely to the beach BeachXperience safety booking distancing

i would like to see one scientific study that shows the virus can transmit in the sun, k thanks

Stupidest fucking thing I've ever seen....

That’s called “a green house” and they will get VERY hot, very fast but god forbid people modify their behavior during a modern day plague

'Reopening safely' is an oxymoron. Until you have 0 cases for at least 14 days and are able to accurately and reliably test everyone to determine who is and who isn't a carrier, re-opening is a major gamble.

Great dumb idea

What a joke
