Neighboring Hunan and Jiangxi have announced plans to stop farmers from breeding exotic animals, with cash offered for current stock. The new measures are part of China's efforts to stem the transmission of zoonotic diseases from animals to humans.Wuhan, China, has banned the eating of wild animals and farmers in neighboring regions are being offered cash incentives to stop breeding exotic livestock.

Great! Will they also ban working with corona virus samples in their biowarfare labs under sloppy security conditions? How about implementing a new policy of warning the world when they unleash a novel virus instead of encouraging international travel while banning local flights?

Hope the ban is permanent, not just a temporary product responding to the virus.
