130 CIOs surveyed by JPMorgan say that nearly half of their cloud dollars are going to Microsoft, and they expect usage of AWS to drop slightly within the next three years

The CIOs say that 48% of their total cloud infrastructure spending goes towards Microsoft on average, and that they expect that to go up a bit to 48.8% in the next three years.

By comparison, the CIOs said that 35.7% of their cloud infrastructure spending currently goes towards AWS, but in the next three years, it will drop to 31.2%. And last year, 18.9% of CIOs said AWS will be the most critical and indispensable to their organization's IT environment in the future, but this year, it dropped to 13.1%.
