Ireland’s taxi drivers are having their busiest weekend since March, as people head out and about amid eased restrictions ahead of Christmas.
Taxi service Free Now says Friday and Saturday were its busiest days since the pandemic began in the spring. Free Now’s Irish manager, Niall Carson said the company works 14,000 drivers – making it the biggest Irish taxi operator.“2020 has been a year to forget for many, and as we approach the festive season we are looking forward to helping people to get around to see loved ones as safely as possible.
