In the wake of the surge in the cost of living the government has been under increasing pressure to do something to alleviate the financial pain so many are facing, possibly by cutting some of the USC rates. ianguider It wouldn't be an issue if 1) The public services were being maintained and 2) The money from USC was actually going to public services. Instead we have an underfunded system due to negligence and the people with the least are suffering the most while the rest buy their way out.
