Lawrence Wong: Singapore's Finance Minister and new leader of the PAP's 4G team

On Thursday , he was announced as leader of the People's Action Party's fourth-generation team.

Mr Wong, 49, was first elected as a Member of Parliament in May 2011. He was re-elected in September 2015 and July 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he has fronted key announcements as co-chair of the multi-ministry task force.
