Premier John Horgan says British Columbia has made a 'significant investment' in rural and remote ambulance services.

Posted: Aug. 30, 2022 2:20PMVANCOUVER — Premier John Horgan says British Columbia has made a “significant investment” in rural and remote ambulance services, including ground and air transportation options, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Horgan’s comments come after an infant in Barriere, B.C., reportedly died waiting for an ambulance, prompting Mayor Ward Stamer to call for flexibility around which first responders are allowed to take patients to hospital.

B.C. Premier John Horgan cites ambulance 'investment' as he addresses infant deathHorgan says the government is working with firefighters as well as the paramedics union to ensure first responders have adequate training so they are able to… What an absolute failure jjhorgan has turned into. The poster child of COVID induced brain damage. So sad. Whose going to drive your ambulances? You? I don't think the NDP government cares about the festering problems in places that don't vote for them. Look at how indifferent they are to other places, like Lytton BC. Still a ruin and nothing happening, only indifference.
