Josephine Italian-American restaurant will open its doors Nov. 30 to a family-inspired establishment located at 3563 St. Johns Ave. in the Shoppes of Avondale. It will occupy the former space of Barrique Kitchen and Wine Bar, which closed in May.
In an effort to nurture his labor force, Floyd has implemented a 3%"staff wellness" charge to each dining ticket. The fee is both optional and in addition to gratuity. Floyd seeks to offer patrons, “a fresh local experience with a big-city feel.” Executive Chef Zach Preece and Chef de Cuisine John Magsino have curated a menu centered around handmade pastas and seasonal, local ingredients with a zero-waste approach to cooking.
