Last week, as FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried was being extradited to the United States from the Bahamas, two of his former business partners pleaded guilty to multiple charges of fraud and conspiracy.

Caroline Ellison, the 28-year-old former CEO of the crypto hedge fund Alameda, apologized before a federal judge in New York, saying that she and her former associates knowingly stole billions of dollars from customers of Bankman-Fried's FTX exchange and sought to cover it up, according to court transcripts.

Another associate, Gary Wang, FTX's former chief technology officer, pleaded guilty to four counts of similar charges. Although $250 million is an extraordinary sum, Bankman-Fried won't have to pay it unless he violates the terms of his bail agreement or fails to show up to court. The atypical bail plan was agreed to as part of his commitment to waive his extradition fight.

Look yourself in the mirror, and look into your eyes, and buy that guy a drink

There’s a reason why before giving himself up he was in Bahamas……they protect offshore banking clients' right to privacy just like Switzerland, Belize, Cayman Islands etc. Govts can’t do nothing. I believe Fried will still be rich when they come out.

Lol, this moron will never get out of jail and if he does some investor will introduce him to his maker.

110 years in prison

how will he do in prison ?

Ugh. Not more, 'Will the democrats be forced to repay campaign donations?' No. Both parties have received dubious donations, and neither have been forced to repay even one cent.

The dirty democrats too?

Never fear, PeePee is here !!!

Whether Ellison ratted or not we all knew they stole customers funds. Everyone knew. Except for Kevin O’Leary it seems. That fool tried to blame on the largest exchange in the world. Pretty sure his speech in Congress was a script written by Congress.

Dems set enough aside in their trillion dollar omnibus to cover SBF. He's their boy.

Every man for himself.

Why people don’t drink: It’s none of your businessTeetotalers and moderate drinkers alike are making a choice – a difficult choice in a society where alcohol is the prime social lubricant If it's none of my business then wtf is the point of this article? 14 1/2 years since my last drink. Best thing I ever did was quit. If I could do it you can do it. Alcohol should be illegal, but that's just my opinion. So many bad things come from drinking.
