Cathedral District senior care center sold for $11M

A downtown senior care center with more than 60,000 square feet has sold for $11 million Tuesday, city records show.

Cathedral Foundation of Jacksonville Inc. sold the 333 East Ashley St. building to New Jersey-based limited liability company Ashley Street Snf Realty. Records show the buyer secured a $12.3 million mortgage from Capital Funding LLC. The three-story building is currently home to CathedralCare, formerly the Cathedral Gerontology Center.

Built in 1970, the building has approximately 66,150 square feet of space. It’s located at the corner of Liberty and Ashley streets. It's a block north of historic St. Johns Cathedral.
