Erin Esiyok-Prime, communications manager for Events East, told SaltWire in 2022 they saw the resumption of live events to bring them back to historic levels in terms of number of events and attendance. Esiyok-Prime added the return of national and international conferences to Halifax means business opportunities for industry partners, including hotels, off-site venues, transportation and other services, as well as “significant revenue” for the convention centre.
