As a rideshare driver who spends hours everyday in every stretch of Socal, I can say we all pass by already deceased individuals… more often than you realize. When you think they are asleep or high.. I often see them in the same spot a while later and many being carted off😞

Most of these people have mental health issues and refuse help. Unless there is a law put in place where you can forcefully put them somewhere I don’t see this getting better. Not talking about 5150HS.
Nearly 1,000 people die on the streets every year in L.A. County. Nobody in power, or the voters for the most part, care. Homelessness is an industry for many politicians and contractors and activists. So we watch people waste away to death on the sidewalks and pretend we care.

Rich people have a hard time understanding what it is like to be homeless. They assume they are all veterans and mental health patients when actually there is a serious meth and fentanyl crisis. The cost of rent exceeds the cost of labor, workers literally have nowhere to live.
