The 23-story Class AA officer tower in Plano, developed in conjunction with Ryan Companies and Gensler, will house the new global headquarters of North Texas-based Ryan, LLC.

What is the ownership structure for this project? Ryan companies is the sponsor, developer, and owner of the project. Koch Real Estate Investments provided joint venture equity capital. ACORE Capital provided a loan for construction financing.There was an acceleration of trends that was already happening but was accelerated by Covid.

We've had the experience of having Ryan, LLC close to the process. There's been a practical and collaborative piece of having direct input from them. This is a speculative building with 200,000 square feet available for other tenants.

The post-Covid world is all about health and wellness, connectivity to outdoor space, views to the outside and ventilation, which were factors we had to consider while designing the building. Those surveys help us understand where the trend of office is going and allow us to help Rowsey and his team think about what the future is looking for and what the Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 want. These businesses are trying to figure out how to recruit top talent to their companies.
