The custom blind and window manufacturer and designer announced the first separations will occur on April 17.

Salt Lake City-based Custom Brands Group is shuttering its Jacksonville operation and laying off 79 employees, the company announced Friday.

The custom blind and window manufacturer and designer announced the first employees will be let go April 17 with most occurring by June 9. The company added that a small group of approximately six critical employees will likely remain employed by Custom Brands Group into the second or third quarter of 2023.

The bulk of the positions impacted by the layoffs are listed as assemblers but also include general manager, senior production supervisor and the vice president of manufacturing and operations.
