Starbucks wants you to give olive oil coffee a shot. Really.

The coffee chain is rolling out a new line of beverages made with extra virgin olive oil. To be clear, the drinks are not simply flavored with olive oil, nor do they have just a hint of it. Each one is truly made with a spoonful of oil, adding 120 calories to the total. With some drinks, you can see a slippery sheen of oil in the cup, and you don’t even have to squint. Three olive oil beverages are available for sale at Starbucks cafes in Italy starting this week.

“My Starbucks journey will come full circle when I return to Milan later this month to introduce something much bigger than any new promotion or beverage,” Schultz said during a February analyst call, teasing the new line. Speaking with CNN’s Harlow, he predicted that the new platform will “transform the coffee industry,” and be “a very profitable new addition to the company.

If'n yo don't sh1t like a river after that yo got real gut problems.

Another difficult story

no thanks. just a reason to charge more

What would make our coffee taste better? Well, anything.

The Italian approach to coffee is a wonder. You’ll get a better espresso in a motorway petrol station than just about anywhere else in the world, yet the bars have all sorts of syrups & special machines for people who want something more interesting. Enigmatic lot, on this topic.

Melitadesc I can't believe my eyes! Opineishon?

🙈🙈

very hard to understand the meaning of the sentence.

No thanks I take my coffee with butter like a respectable asshole

Our president and NATO are pushing us towards thermonuclear war and we talking coffee on CNN

You dunk sour dough bread instead of donut in this coffee.

CDC approved

No, its executives want news agencies to give the company free advertising. ✅

Sounds as horrific as those obnoxiously bright yellow pants. I don't care about what people wear, but this hurts the eyes.

I prefer dish water

Their dogwater branded as coffee is already bad enough. Why would they put the most foul-tasting plant in it? 🤢

Next coffee with a cucumber

I think I’ll stick to Nestle creamer, turbinado sugar, and Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

I'll just put this here because they'll never tell you. Remember when she was in front of Congress telling the story about how kavanaugh raped her? Well as we all knew she admitted she lied about it all and never met him.

When is a cup of coffee no longer a cup of coffee?

How we feel about this lawrencepowers ?

Add some Aloe Vera and Honey……. It’s GOOD for people who smoke WEED👍🏼

Oleato: Virgin olive oil infused’: WTF ? If Italians, who love Expressos & Capuchinos thought it was good idea, they would had tried it years ago! Starbucks is out of touch with Italians way. They should start offering Affrogato (Rebosado) vanilla with Expresso coffee Ice Cream

If you are looking for a real coffee, skip SB. Paying 10 bucks for smth that remotely resembles the taste of freshly grounded beans is a total waste . Do yourself a favour, by a French press or a coffee pot and indulge yourself with a great brew for 10$ a week. Thank me later.

Starbucks is also eliminating their CS position. I think some very bad Ferengi have taken control of starbucks.

LoL. Not one mention of how much sugar is contained in any of these drinks. Wow, with such great journalism it’s a wonder we have a childhood obesity epidemic.

British or US food?🤣🤣🤣 Remember that Starbucks was kicked out if Italy...Italians DO know how to prepare fine coffee 🤣

BEYOND THE STAR ⭐️

Like to take one

DougDougFood

It's actually good!

Intriqued.

A full spoon of Pure Virgin Olive Oil added to my coffee? 🙆🏾‍♀️

Vegetables Oils Olive Oils I Liked It...

You drink it while sitting on the toilet.

No, TY.

Looks like they have given up on making decent coffee

itseems a little strange but it's testing can be harmless
