Suspected improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and ammunition were dug up in the compound of a company led by former Negros Oriental Governor Pryde Henry Teves.

In a Sunday morning GTV News Live report, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group said that an informant who claimed to be among those who buried the items tipped authorities off on the items.

Due to this development, the CIDG said Teves would be facing illegal possession of firearms complaints. The CIDG on Friday began implementing a search warrant for violation of RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act at a compound allegedly owned by Pryde Henry Teves.arrested three people and seized a cache of guns and thousands of rounds of ammunitionHenry Teves is the brother of suspended Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo Teves Jr., who was a respondent in a complaint filed in connection with several killings that occurred in the province in 2019.
