I enjoyed vodacom contract.

It's important to read your cellphone or data contract carefully, there is a clause most ISP use that your contract will run month to month if you don't give them a month's notice to cancel. Even after expiration date of contract. So always call them in advance. Or call ombudsman

Had a problem with Telkom. Had 2 contracts taken out on the same day. Ended on the same day 2 years later. 1 they cancelled the other they did not After asking not to continue using their services . 5 years later i get a call from their lawyers demanding crazy amounts.

Reluctant? Now that’s putting it mildly.

I am having this issue with MTN since October which was the last time a debit order should have gone off my account. Was just a their head office last week because the phone calls & store visits have proven useless over 4 months as they kept debiting me.

We need laws allowing only month to month services on airtime and data deals. Its not like we don't need the services but these companies would rather ensnare us with contracts Vodacom MTNza CellC TelkomZA
