Larkin Fire and Rescue department operation commander Mohd Faiz Suleiman said 27 firemen were deployed to the scene after the department received a call at about 6.50am."The fire also razed a shop selling cosmetics and herbs, which was 70% damaged and a perfume shop, which suffered 10% damage," he said in a statement here."We managed to control the fire at about 8.25am but the operation is still ongoing," he said.
The Larkin Market or better known as Pasar Awam Larkin located next to the Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal in Johor Baru.
