Stocks will tumble, recession will strike, and dollar dominance is at risk, Thomas Peterffy warns

However, they also tend to increase unemployment, drag down asset prices and corporate profits, and raise the risk of a recession.

He also predicted the central bank would hike rates and signal further increases this week, ending the stock-market rally that has seen the Dow Jones Industrial Average
