A vacant office building on Darice Parkway will remain empty, even though the city had awarded a grant for a Cleveland company to move there.

, a distributor of paper, packaging and office supplies, was planning to move its headquarters from Grant Avenue to the Darice building, formerly the home of Darice Inc., an arts supply company owned by Strongsville developer Michael Catanzarite.

Hegeman said Millcraft is considering a different location for a new headquarters but it’s not in Strongsville. Millcraft, founded in 1920, has divisions in Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Indianapolis, Louisville, Kentucky, Nashville and Springfield, Illinois, according to the company website.
