In his speech during the rice distribution in San Jose, Dinagat, Mr. Marcos reiterated the administration’s commitment to rebuild the area from the damages wrought by Typhoon Odette.
The province was battered by Odette back in 2021 and incurred around P3.9 billion worth of agricultural and infrastructure damages, affecting more than 34,000 families. “Dinagat is somewhat isolated, so we need to find a way to make the airport beautiful first, that’s the easiest,” Mr. Marcos said.
