They seemed like a legitimate company. But the criminal empire hiding underneath brought misery to thousands across the North West.
Hollis claimed he was Bradshaw's brother and was staying in the ground floor bedroom but denied any connection to the cash, cannabis, cash counting machine, mobile phones and snap bags found inside instead blaming his sibling. Hollis, Dawes and Pope all pointed out a second upstairs bedroom as belonging to Bradshaw.
Examination of Bradshaw's second phone found that he was using an encrypted handset to run his drugs empire. Dawes, who went by the aliases Kilo Delta and Superman, was linked to the conspiracy through phone evidence. He bought and collected drugs for the gang. Pope counted money for the gang - over £80,000 in just two months in 2019 - and his home with Riding was used as a base for collecting drugs.
Riding, 28, from Alexandra Road, Lytham St Annes, admitted to being part of the criminal activities of an organised crime group by helping prepare cocaine for sale. She pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court earlier this month and will be sentenced on January 22, 2024.
