Pamela Capriglione started Neuro Skillshop after seeing first-hand the detrimental impact outdated training was having on neurodivergent children

A woman from Co Tyrone says she was inspired to set up her own training and wellbeing business after being inspired by her two siblings who have autism.

Her business developed from her first-hand experience of seeing the detrimental impact outdated training was having on the mental health of neurodivergent children and young people. "That's why I established Neuro Skillshop because I wanted parents and professionals to know there was a service there available they can access regardless of the child who had a diagnosis."

"Sometimes it's a postcode lottery in Northern Ireland, sometimes certain services don't exist in certain areas. Even in different areas the criteria to access certain supports may differ, so parents and professionals are very frustrated by that as well."
