Dr Michael Mosley reportedly left behind a business worth millions following his tragic death. The TV doctor's passing was confirmed on 9 June, five days after he went missing on the Greek island of Symi.
The latest accounts for Parenting Matters Ltd which cover 2022, show the firm had a bottom line of £3.6m, with £716,000 in cash for its three directors. The firm paid £259,438 in tax - meaning taxable profit for that year was around five times that figure. Michael ran the company with his wife Dr Clare Bailey Mosley and Professor Stephen Scott. On his website Mosley said of his firm: “I met Clare at medical school, and we later got married. Unlike her, I didn’t stay in medicine but instead, I became a BBC journalist and then a television presenter.
