Federal officials claim the housing companies discriminated against the man and violated the Fair Housing Act.

Federal authorities have accused a Burlington County housing company of violating the Fair Housing Act after a father and his three kids were allegedly evicted from their apartment days after a brief jail-term.said Thursday that Burlington Preservation Associates, Arbor Management and Leon N. Weiner & Associates in Wrightstown broke federal laws when they allegedly aggressively moved to evict a Black-Hispanic father and his three young children days after he was incarcerated.

The companies barred the family from their residence and initiated an immediate eviction after the man was incarcerated, even though his attorney notified the companies that the jail term was expected to be brief and the rent had been paid during the time of his incarceration, federal officials said.24-year-old charged with murder in shooting at N.J. park
