) - Mayor Steven Reed and his wife, Tamika, are back from a weeklong, international trip to the Persian Gulf where he and other mayors from across the country promoted investment in their cities.
Reed was joined by the mayors of Fresno, California; Atlanta, Georgia; Columbia, South Carolina; and Rochester Hills, Michigan, for the trip. “It was an honor to represent Montgomery in Qatar, where I met with investors to promote our city’s potential for partnerships in technology, healthcare, and infrastructure,” Reed told WSFA 12 News. “I also had the privilege of visiting with personnel at Al Udeid Air Base, highlighting the vital connections between our communities.”Jerry Dyer, Fresno’s mayor, posted photos of the trip to his social media accounts showing the mayors gathered.
