Politicians were forced to make the rat-run to other drinking dens off Kildare Street after the Dáil bars were closed while the rat hunt got underway on this day last month.
The furry invader caused havoc after it was spotted in the inner sanctums of the private Member’s Bar on July 9th by Fianna Fáil leader, Micheál Martin. On Tuesday July 10th last year, the private Members’ Bar pulled in €1,040.25, while the busier Visitors’ Bar finished the day with €1,369.15.
