are taking legal action against the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa , accusing the company of abruptly terminating their contracts.
The three companies -- Chuma Security Services , Sechaba Protection and Supreme Security Services -- claim they were informed to stop their services on the same day they learned their contracts had been terminated. Sithethi Ngcwangu from CSS said Prasa had on previous occasions allowed the monthly contract to continue into the following month without communicating whether it had been extended or not.He said he assumed the contract would be continuing as the rail agency had not communicated anything to the contrary.
Ngcwangu stated the company was informed their contract had been terminated on the morning of 1 November and told to suspend their services with immediate effect.Source
