FRANKFURT - Tesla’s announcement earlier this month that it will build its first European factory near Berlin will draw further companies from the electric mobility and energy storage sectors into Germany, a state premier told newspaper Die Welt. “They are already on their way. I’m hearing there are further inquiries with the communities and the regional business development program. Tesla will cause other companies to follow,” said Dietmar Woidke, premier of the eastern German state of Brandenburg that surrounds Berlin.

He said Brandenburg was already in talks with other companies, declining to identify them due to confidentiality agreements. “I expect that we can announce it before Christmas,” Woidke said.

Boris Johnson promises to give state aid to UK companies to stop them collapsing after BrexitThe prime minister announced that he would remove EU rules preventing the government from awarding contracts to UK-based businesses. I thought brexit was going to be great for British business... It's almost like they've been lying to us hhhmmm 🤔 He does not have the power to do so and, as such, is effectively declaring that he is going to implement a No Deal Brexit as the EU will not accept such an amendment to the Withdrawal Agreement. It is further evidence of the CON which BOJO is trying. He's KILLING the ECONOMY.
