State commercial crime chief Supt E. Sundra Rajan said the student was surfing Facebook when she saw an advertisement, promising lucrative returns in 72 hours once she had invested a sum.explaining to her the mechanism on how she would obtain handsome returns.
“Once the student was convinced, she deposited the total amount in five different accounts between Jan 5 and 8, ” he said on Monday .
