There has perhaps never been a period where the cancellation of a specific vehicle line could be more easily tolerated. So severe is the microchip and general parts shortage that the assembly volumes for these discontinued vehicles was inconsequential.That’s not to say they were all bad cars. In certain instances, they arrived late to a party.
