Meanwhile, US light crude oil fell US$1.70 to US$97.85 a barrel and Brent lost US$1.86 to US$93.78 per barrel.Elsewhere in the region, Japan’s Nikkei Stock Average fell 1.53%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 1.79%, South Korea’s Kospi closed down 2.28%, Singapore’s Straits Times Index added 0.07% and China’s CSI 300 Index fell 0.86%.
