Adventure Tourism Victoria president Alex Hill said the resumption of the travel market and an increase in working holidaymakers marked an enormous opportunity, particularly across the labour and hospitality sectors.ATV president Alex Hill wants to see more working holidaymakers fill job shortages.Mr Hill said state and federal governments could be doing more to benefit from backpacker workers.

ATV, which is hosting a forum with keynote speakers in Melbourne tonight, expected backpacker numbers to lift to more than 300,000 in 2023.
