MARKET WRAP: $BTC continues to dance around the $20,000 mark as investors await Friday’s Non-Farm Payrolls and unemployment data. GWilliamsJr_CMT and _jocelynyang_ report

Bitcoin traded slightly higher on Thursday and most cryptocurrencies spent much of the day in positive territory.

Continuing claims also rose. The 1.36 million in continuing jobless claims was more than five times higher than the consensus estimate of 203,000. Friday’s jobs data is part and parcel to the macroeconomic narrative that has driven both traditional and digital asset prices. Markets still appear to be in a “bad news=good news” environment. Increased job losses typically signal that the economy is slowing and that inflation will likely decline.
