Gas company Santos withdraws Darwin Festival sponsorship

The festival received an offer from the McKinnon Family Foundation, offering $200,000 over the next two years.

This offer was made on the terms that the festival ends its relationship with Santos and other fossil fuel companies. After being made aware of the opportunity Santos withdrew its sponsorship, ending its 30-year-long relationship.

Well done santos. Now let some green companies sponsor all the events you did. AINT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Well done Santos. Take the opportunity to review all other sponsorships & send a message to all the hypocritical ‘activists’ who live easily & readily with your products.

Good! They can put that money into something actually useful, like finding more gas!
