A Philadelphia gas station owner fed up with incessant crime threatening his employees and customers hired heavily armed security guards to watch over his business.

Neil Patel, operator of a Karco gas station at Broad and Clearfield streets in North Philadelphia, recruited Pennsylvania S.I.T.E Agents clad with Kevlar vest and AR-15s or shotguns.

"They are forcing us to hire the security, high-level security, state level," Patel told FOX 29. "We are tired of this nonsense; robbery, drug trafficking, hanging around, gangs." The final straw for Patel came after he said his business was vandalized by young people and an ATM machine was stolen. His car was also a casualty of crime around the area.

Not sure if 'Street Fighter' movie is missing General Bison, or if 'Police Academy' movie is missing one of the guys from The Blue Oyster Bar 🤔

Sounds like a stunt. Why doesn’t the clerk have a gun? All it takes is one time and no one will rob you again.

based

There will be more of this if crime stays high

First the rich will hire armed security, then the left will say armed security is a right for everyone’s safety and the they will protest for a public safety force that everyone has access too…….

This will be safest area in the whole city. Funny how well trained armed guards make that happen without any government intervention.

Good

Picture of when politicians fail its constituents! Keep voting Dem, you’ll get more of the same.

Just like the stores in Pacifica 😳

Love it!! Let's see how much crime they have now!!

Murica 3rd world country. acting like they 1st lmao

Y no han visto que también en Chicago ya hay guardias con armas en la gasolinera donde voy a comprar todos los días hay un guardia bien armado y hasta dos dependiendo del día que toque feriado son armas cortas pero letales también.

Nuke Philly

This is the pendulum swinging back away from tolerance of crime. If the government doesn't regulate crime to a tolerable level, the market will; and the market acts swiftly LondonBreed

😆

Q_Pilled Is that Ye? Because if it’s Ye I vote NO.

👏👏👏👏

But but Kyle Rittenhouse

Seems like everyone likes it

Why are the not on the rooftop though? Serious question

Safer.

Safer absolutely, at least someone is doing something. We alll know the mayor, the DA and City Council are not.

i mean i dont plan on stealing anything ...so i would feel safe lol

Now that's great finally a safe space for City Councilmembers to fill up their City issued SUV's without the worries of being carjacked, progress as only Philadelphia can do.

Safe

Not sure about posting someone in black out gear, with an AR pistol and a mask, lookin' like they're going to war. ...but armed guard seems like a good idea.

This is why NJGov has it best

Love it but JoeBiden and your senator the FREAK JohnFetterman …wants to take that firearm 2A

That on top of the confiscatory taxes the democrats running the city have already imposed on his business. Shut down the station and leave that hellhole.

Hell yeah. It would be nice to pump gas without constantly checking over your shoulder with one hand on the pump and the other bracing your protection.

Welcome to Philthytown, now let me cap your ass ROFLMAO. Hey, still nothing on twittergate ? How does it feel to be a 'news agency' and not report the news?

I guess the gas stations really are raking in the cash.

But but Fetterman ?

Yep, going for the ratings spin. There's no AR-15 here and you were informed yesterday.

Good job 👏

Now here's a scenario, someone is pumping gas, and gets carjacked Are those guards going to jump in and help? Or is this only for inside the store?

Parabellum2021 He should send the bill to DA_LarryKrasner PhillyMayor PPDCommish

Thr definition of a failed government.

Since the Democrats refuse to do away with the current bail reform policies that are a proven failure, perhaps the state and government (Social Security) , should stop any and all future benefits when a person is convicted of a crime !

Neil Patel and his 'business' should not get ONE MORE CENT from that neighborhood. The audacity to siphon money from a neighborhood only to use that money to intimidate said neighborhood is daunting. Again, he would only pull this stunt in a black neighborhood. How cowardly!

If this man is so scared to do business in that neighborhood, here's a thought - LEAVE AND DONT COME BACK. Black people are already over policed and criminalized by PhillyPolice. Black people in Philadelphia don't need to be threatened by businesses that they financially support

No matter what the level of crime, this store manager would not dare to pull something like this in Old City, Chestnut Hill or any other white enclave within the city. And the anchors on seem to find this necessary and good for black people to be dealt with like this

The optics of this are incredible and not in a good way. An Asian man uses money gained from black people to hire black security guards to intimidate and potentially harm black people in a black neighborhood. And some black people are seemingly OK with this display of aggression
