Before the pandemic, coyote pelts fetched up to $120 each. The price has tanked to around $35. Marten pelts were up around $150 before the pandemic and now sell for less than half that amount. Lynx pelts were as high as $300 and are now less than $100. Other players in the garment industry, Gordon said, snapped up some of the excess product on the fur market.
