US is no.1

I've been investing for 50 years. The headlines indicate the Fed is causing weak markets. That's part of the reason but not the most important. IMO poor US leadership and volatile world affairs are the most critical factors leading to the decline. The press just won't go there.

At the sound of a snapped twig, the zebra herd of investors sprints madly away from the broken stick and off toward the distant horizon...

It’s likely more concern about the escalation in Ukraine.
