But behind her radiance, I could feel something more beneath the surface. “What’s your story?” I asked her, surprising myself at the forwardness of my inquiry. “I mean, what have you been through in your life that makes a good story? What’s your journey?”I was stunned by this honest response and wanted to know more about her transformation and how she stays motivated.

The conversation turned more somber as the businesswoman shared that the reason for her uncannily good money-making skills at a young age was directly correlated to her childhood. After graduating from high school, Seal joined the Air Force, living in Iraq and Korea while working in the medical logistics field. “The most important lesson I learned while serving in the Air Force was to ‘do it scared,’” she said. “Fear will always be an obstacle you work to overcome, but don’t let it hold you back from your greatness.”
