President Joe Biden will commence the Small Business Administration 2023 Women's Business Summit on Monday afternoon as a continued celebration of Women's History Month.

The two-day hybrid summit, spanning Tuesday through Wednesday, will consist of virtual panels, workshops, and fireside chats to help women-owned small businesses build and grow, according to the SBA's website. The event includes collaboration with the National Women’s Business Council and will also feature in-person salon and training sessions.Over 27,000 participants attended the inaugural SBA's Women's Business Summit last year.

The summit comes after a month of financial turmoil stemming from the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank in early March. On Monday, First Citizens Bank announced it would buy the failed California-based bank and assume all deposits — estimated to be more than $119 billion.
