Mrs Betterridge said the owner, who has used the property both as a home and investment, had decided to move on but described the property as “a great place to hang out and fish”. Mrs Betterridge said Brooms Head was once well known for the wild brumbies that lived in the Yuraygir National Park, however most had died during the last devastating bushfires.
