JOHOR BARU: Colourcon Inc, a world leader in the development, supply and support of formulated products for the pharmaceutical industry, has chosen Johor as the destination for its first manufacturing plant in South-East Asia, says Lee Ting Han.

JOHOR BARU: Colourcon Inc, a world leader in the development, supply and support of formulated products for the pharmaceutical industry, has chosen Johor as the destination for its first manufacturing plant in South-East Asia, says Lee Ting Han .

"The new plant, set for completion in July 2025, would be the company’s 12th in the world and first in Malaysia that could produce film coating products formulated specifically for pharmaceutical application and regulatory requirements. "Once the facility is completed, we can expect to reduce our dependence on imports besides elevating Malaysia into a pharmaceutical manufacturing hub to satisfy the markets in South-East Asia as well as Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Taiwan and Pakistan.
